I love the shades in this Metal Mania palette. They go well on my brown skin. I use it with Mac Prep+Prime for eyes and that way they stay on a bit longer. However, you would be disappointed if you expect these to be a substitute for MAC. The quantity of each color is quite small, a shallow dime size. I don't wear this on a daily basis so my palette is going to last a while. I purchased it more as an inexpensive alternative for just experimenting with color combinations. The brushes supplied with the kit are useless. All in all, 4 stars for the selection of colors, very compelling price point and acceptable quality.

The only difference is that the numbers aren't printed on the plastic. That is fine with me as those numbers wouldn't have done me any good at all. The size of each color isn't too big or too small. Beautiful colors. They are the size of a dime which I expected from other CS palettes. This isn't a problem unless you plan on wearing one color every day, in that case it won't last long. The shadows are highly pigmented and apply and blend well. I highly recommend this palette for its large range of colors. It's actually a very neutral palette with metallic finishes. I am a Black woman and these show up on me nicely with a shadow primer. I use different MAC paint pots for a base. Beautiful.

I just bought this palette and have played with the shadows, and pleasantly surprised at the color pay off with the individual palettes! I don't know what was up with the other reviewers, but personally, I really LIKE this product. There is a healthy mixture of matte to shimmering shadows, with the exception of the Tokyo palette (which is my least favorite and not as well pigmented as I would have hoped.) Smokey eye is my go-to look everyday and these palettes definitely suit my obsession. I'll admit I have not tried the gloss or blushes yet since my ridiculous addiction to shadows, but I have read a lot of other reviews and watched many youtube videos referring to their good quality as well.

With the exception of the Tokyo palette, the other four are great. Deep pigmentation, blendable, non-creasing (did not prime beforehand either :] ) and had great staying power from 8am to 10pm.

This eyeshadow is amazing! I was having a lot of trouble getting eye shadow colors to stay true when I would put them on, and also, to not fade over time. However, I didn't want to pay the price for high end shadows like MAC. This eye shadow palette definitely solves all my problems. The color is bright, vibrant, bold, and BEAUTIFUL! The pigment is amazing, and it blends really well. I can't believe I only payed dollars for this! It was well worth the money!
